Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which you may cancel your account and request refunds for services provided by Wocpay.

1. Account Cancellation

You may cancel your Wocpay account at any time by following these steps:

  • Send a cancellation request to support@wocpay.com
  • Include your account information and the reason for cancellation
  • We will process your request within 5-7 business days

2. Data Deletion

Once your account is cancelled:

  • All of your account data will be scheduled for deletion from our systems
  • The deletion process will be completed within 30 days of cancellation
  • Since deletion of all data is final, please be sure that you do in fact want to cancel your account before doing so
  • We recommend backing up any important data before requesting cancellation

Important: Certain data may be retained for longer periods as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, including but not limited to transaction records, anti-money laundering records, and fraud prevention data.

3. Refund Policy

All fees and charges paid to Wocpay are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as specifically stated in this policy.

Non-Refundable Fees

  • Transaction processing fees
  • Account setup fees
  • Monthly or annual service fees
  • Chargeback fees
  • Currency conversion fees
  • Any other fees or charges already incurred

Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:

  • Double charging: If you were charged twice for the same transaction, we will refund one of the charges
  • Service failure: If Wocpay fails to provide a service that you have paid for, and the failure is solely attributable to our systems or processes
  • Erroneous charges: If you were charged in error due to a technical or operational issue on our end
  • Credit balances: If your account has a positive balance that has not been used for 12 months or more, you may request a refund

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our support team at support@wocpay.com
  2. Provide your account details and transaction information
  3. Clearly state the reason for your refund request
  4. Include any supporting documentation (transaction receipts, screenshots, etc.)
  5. Our team will review your request within 7-10 business days

5. Refund Processing Time

If your refund request is approved:

  • Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of approval
  • The refund will be credited back to the original payment method
  • Depending on your payment provider, it may take additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account
  • You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been processed

6. Fraud Prevention

Without limiting any other remedies, Wocpay reserves the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate your account if we suspect fraudulent activity
  • Delay refund processing while conducting fraud investigations
  • Deny refund requests that appear to be fraudulent or abusive
  • Report suspected fraudulent activity to relevant law enforcement authorities

If we determine that your account has been used for fraudulent purposes, we reserve the right to cancel your account immediately without refund and to take legal action as appropriate.

7. Partial Refunds

In some cases, we may offer partial refunds at our discretion. These decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis taking into consideration the circumstances of the request, the nature of the service, and applicable laws and regulations.

8. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
